It's all very exciting. I enjoyed the first 3 stories despite or perhaps because of their ability to disturb my peace of mind :)

i'm feeling a little momentumized myself, perhaps a lie down will cure it

Is there some sort of irony in that after a long period of nothing at ShunnedHouse.Net we have a picture representing life after death???

Hopefully, more deathlife to follow shortly...

...is that some two-headed graveyard beastie giving Nosferatu the finger bottom right?

Thanks for the comments, funny that the horns look different sizes co they are mirrored then i just made detail changes so must be an illusion :)

On a video I watched a few months back the artist, Patrick J. Jones, strongly made the point that you shouldn't be afraid to get rid of something just because you spent time on it, if its not working get rid of it. Easier said then done of course.

I can really relate to that; having to put atmospheric effects over the work already in place - it certainly feels like a gamble! Well done for taking the risk and going for it, I don't think I could have done that. The smoke from the nostrils certainly adds action, strength and gives life to the piece. The composition of the horns is very, very good although the horn on the right looks thicker than the one on the left???? There's so many good things about this piece, so many well composed parts - as a whole it kinda just looks like a head...but still I love looking at this piece for it's parts and the masterful use of smoke!!

Yeah - they're in person comments from people who really seem to know fek all about art or even the "attempt" at art. Remember me talking about trying not to dislike "mis-informed people" by identifying them as stupid.

...my patience is being tested :)

Are these bad reactions are from people you know rather than comments on sites?

I really like this picture but it seems to be getting a lot of bad reactions from people which is a shame. It's also a shame for attracting an audience that this style will no doubt crop up plenty more in the future.

@Dust
Karnivool didn't play that bigger role in this picture, just the wings. As for PS comfort - there are a few things which I wish I knew how to do and suspect there are ways to do them but now most of the problems are compositional ones and timeframe ones. It would be nice to do a picture to the limit of my capabilities without time constraints...but maybe that's a constant limiting factor anyway.

A nice concept piece, and inspired or helped along by Karnivool thats cool. The vids of theirs that I have seen are quite abstract and inspiring, just like their music infact.

Are you feeling more comfortable with PS now?
